All of my photoshoots are meticulously planned days if not weeks in advance, involving the sketching of ideas and thumbnails on paper, selecting locations, and researching the subjects. The majority of the horses I photograph are situated to the west of Salt Lake City, as well as in the local equestrian areas around Athens, Georgia.
